Artist's Statement

Dr. William Brender

"I painted them all around 1991-3 when downtown was being ignored. The prints have been on display at the Day Surgery Center at Glens Falls hospital for the last 15 years and it is a pleasure to dust them off and show them off for the Glens Falls Centenial Celebration.  I have been booked for a show in September at City Hall as a member of the NCAC. Reviewing my digital files, I am missing a lot of my favorites (and a few originals like the gazebo and christmas present). I hope to get them all digitized, so I can continue producing printings and they can be saved for posterity. It is amazing that it has been 15 years since I painted them."
