Memorial Day Parade
Monday, May 26, 2008
The Excelsior Cornet Band

We are recognizing the nearly 250 soldiers from Glens Falls and Queensbury who fell in combat over all wars for which we can obtain verifiable information (through the Civil War). Each soldier’s name will be printed on a replica of a cemetery headstone and carried by current residents of Glens Falls and Queensbury. The replicas will be placed in a memorial cemetery at Crandall Park as part of the Monday, May 26 ceremony.
