In the late 1940's, there was a Queen for a Day chosen in Glens Falls at the Queensbury Hotel. I know this because I am her youngest offspring. I would like to know the exact date as I was not born then. Thomas A. Fleming Sr.; 8 Howard Street; Queensbury, NY 12804. Phone: 518-798-7273

CARTER and JONBERT names
Looking for any info on a Beatrice CARTER or Fannie JONBERT. They were my grandmother and gg/granmdmother. The 1900 census shows them in Glens Falls. My grandmother was 11 years old then and living with her grandmother (Fannie JONBERT). Any information would be greatly appreciated as i've drawn a blank on that line. Bob Boss r_c_boss@yahoo.com

Good Day, This site was sent to me by a high school friend and I am thrilled. Can you tell me if there will be any pictures of the Mobil Gas Station that was owned by Peter Brilling? The Glen St. location and then there was the move later years, approximately the 70's to the Upper Glen St. location, owned and operated in Queensbury by Peter Jr. Mike Brilling, middle of the seven children, and they all worked in the station except the very youngest, Nancy. He was my husband, and passed away in 2002 from Cancer. Our two daughters, as well as Mike's family would love to see any old pictures of the "Station" if possible. I appreciate any response to this email. Best Regards and congratulations on a wonderful website, very much appreciated from those of us who no longer live in the immediate area. Best Regards, Bordy Warrington Brilling
